Never again is now! Commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the Reichspogrom Night

The Bornplatz Synagogue Foundation and the Jewish Community in Hamburg invite you to a memorial service on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Reichspogrom Night on November 9.

‍

It has never been more important to work for remembrance.

‍

Under the title “Never again is now” Let's meet on the former Bornplatz, today's Joseph-Carlebach Platz.  

‍

In addition to the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg Peter Tschentscher, other speakers will pay tribute to the memory of the Holocaust.

‍

For participants in the event, a book of remembrance and solidarity will be published, in which anyone can sign up.

‍

Bringing candles is welcome and encouraged.

‍

On this day, we would like to get out of the middle of society as the Vielen den A few stand by and set an example to secure Jewish life in Hamburg - against the existential fear and anti-Semitism that the Jewish community is currently experiencing all over the world.
